Through an app named Ballot Box, my team created an ideal voting experience based around the persona’s wants and needs. This app enabled users find voter registration locations, understand who and what to vote for, locate polling, and cast their ballots.
A different color for each subsection of voting. The top navigation gives the user the ability to favorite candidates, compare candidates, and has candidates recommended to them based on earlier preferences.
In the top right corner of each candidate, there is a heart indicating whether you have favorited the candidate or not. The user is able to scroll down and choose which candidate they would like to learn more about.
To keep the information from overwhelming the user and simple, the text is collapsable so the page remains uncluttered and presents information more visually until the user taps for more information.
